I also maintain some packages that I don't put into the Debian Linux queue. This has several reasons. I either have taken a Debian package and made an Infodrom package out of it, I took a new package of which I don't think that it is useful for Debian or I have made a package on which another maintainer is working, too, but find my package much more better. :-) Another reason might be a simple re-build because of a.out...All of these packages can be found on ftp.infodrom.north.de (Infodrom Oldenburg) in /pub/Linux/Infodrom/debian/.

I work on these packages more or less often to create a Debian package. There are problems with some of them, that's why they aren't uploaded yes. If you are interested in betatesting any of them, you might find the actual version on ftp.infodrom.north.de in /pub/people/joey/debian/. Feel free to test them, but please send me comments in any case, either if they work for you or if they don't.

As I have a lot of things to do I'm only able to maintain those packages that I use often and on which I work. So if you're familiar with Debian GNU/Linux and want to be a maintainer you might be interested in one of those packages.
I wrote some scripts that shall make life easier for me. You may want to have look at them. They come as is, with no warrenty. If you'd like to use them you probably have to justify them. If you have additions please let me know
- dpkg-upload, an upload script
- dpkg-html, a utility that generates those neat links (s.a.)
- dpkg-bug-close, a tool for closing bugreports
- dpkg-bug-report, a tool for reporting bugs
- dpkg-cdrom, a tool for creating my Debian CD-Roms
