ORCHESTRAL EXPANSION SR-JV80-02: Orchestral sounds. Impressive quality "real sounding" traditional instruments and a *vast* range of stringpatches and horns/wind. Also very good orchestral percussion, some pianos, choir patches Almost everything a conductor might want to wave his stick at. PIANO EXPANSION SR-JV80-03: Piano is one of the hardest sounds to digitise, but this card does what it can. Richer timbres and a number of choices on size and character of piano, grand piano and electric pianos. If you want a Bosendorfer or a Steinway - go get one. This is the best you get with a JV-1080. VINTAGE SYNTHS EXPANSION SR-JV80-04: Vintage synths galore ! Ready processed and "right" sounding Moogs, Prophets, Arps, Oberheims, Juno's and a couple of very nice Mellotron-clones. Lots of great synthbasses. Love this card ! This is perfect for preproduction and demoing. Viva Digital Analog ! WORLD EXPANSION SR-JV80-05: Full of very wellsounding ethnic percussion, string and wind instruments from the entire globe. There's some *great* loops and vocalsounds in there to + a lot more. Has to be heard to be understood. (like all sounds and music) DANCE EXPANSION SR-JV80-06: The latest board and a trendy one. Which is great *and* a risk. Full of drumloops, drumkits (*YES* a very good 909 basic) but also heaps of vocal samples, scratches, noices and stuff that I'm not sure you want in your *synth*. I use a Roland S-750 for loops and other samples which gives the freedom I want with loops and other sampled sounds. But the "Dance" loops are *great* basic loops and there are heaps of other good things in there like basses and synthsounds. If you're into anything dancerelated you should definately check it out. Actually, check it anyway !
