It is a compromise, but there are ways of making the patch sound as if it has an effect, like: Fake delay: Take two of the same tone. Set the delay time of the 2nd tone to be just after the key-on. You can even produce the sound of a triple-tap-delay by the delay time of 3 tones, the only problem is that it won't be timed into the MIDI clock. Fake Wah-wah: With the cutoff, res, (TVA and TVF envelope) and LFO you make a Wah sound instead of using the Auto-Wah. (too much to explain how to do it here) Fake chorus: Again, take two of the same tone. Fine tune both tones but in opposite directions (only slightly, say: +5 and -5). They vibrate against each other giving a (sort off) chorus effect.
